Resurfacing roadworks 2025/2026

Summer is 'resurfacing season' where both Nelson City and Tasman District Council's undertake maintenance on our road network. Some of these resurfacing projects may have minor impacts on bus stops and routes. Below we will list them through the 2025/2026 season.

Tresillian Ave Atawhai 

Dates: Monday 23 March - Tuesday 31 March

Due to road repairs on Tresillian Ave, the bus will not complete the full loop between Tresillian Ave and Marybank Road. The bus will turn around at 1B Tresillian Ave. The following bus stops will be closed:

• Tresillian Ave near McConnell Place
• Marybank Road near Jackson Street
• Marybank Road at SH6

Collingwood Street at Fresh Choice

Due to work on Bridge Street near the intersection of Collingwood Street, the R1 and R4 bus stop outside Fresh Choice will be temporarily relocated outside The Free House (95 Collingwood Street).
