Resurfacing roadworks 2025/2026

Summer is 'resurfacing season' where both Nelson City and Tasman District Council's undertake maintenance on our road network. Some of these resurfacing projects may have minor impacts on bus stops and routes. Below we will list them through the 2025/2026 season.

Parere Street - 14 November

Due to work on Parere Street, routes 3 & 4 will be detoured down Northesk Street. There will be no temporary bus stops. These two bus stops will be closed for the duration of the project. 

1. Stop 3302 – St Vicent St at Boc Gas  - at 107 St Vincent St.
2. Stop 3409 – St Vincent St near St Anne Place  - Opposite 117 St Vincent St

 

High Street Motueka- 17 - 18 November

Contractors will be working to reseal High Street, this will affect the eBus route 5 for Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 November. The following bus stops will be closed for the duration of the project. 

• Inglis Street at Saxton Street
• Inglis Street at Vosper Street
• Poole Street No.29
• Poole Street No.34
• Grey Street near Tana Pukekohatu Ave
• Grey Street outside Motueka High School
