The Late Late Bus is a night transport service that is safe and affordable between Nelson and Richmond.
The service runs on Friday and Saturday nights from 10.00pm leaving Trafalgar Street on the hour, with the last service departing at 3.15am (no midnight service from Nelson and no 12.30am service from Richmond). Fare $5.
The outbound service travels via Tahunanui and stops as required at designated, well-lit stops. The inbound service leaves Richmond on the half hour and travels into the city via Bishopdale. On average 60 people use the service each weekend with some weekends peaking at well over 100 users depending on what is on in the city.
